As we celebrate the arrival of spring and the emergence of new life, we acknowledge the invitation that accompanies this season. Spring becomes a metaphor for the perpetual cycle of life, a reminder to support and encourage the energy expressed through life in all its facets.

The overarching theme of this overnight event is Unconditional Love – a power that creates connection, expansion, and evolution. Join us in an environment that encourages the flow of life's energy, nurturing the interconnectedness of all living things. At the heart of our overnight sound bath gathering will be an exploration and celebration of ancestral Mesoamerican wisdom and our profound connection to the cosmic tapestry. Being in absolute alignment with their environment, wise and conscious Mesoamerican cultures knew that nature strives for abundance in support of life. Yet, human intelligence, with its freedom to choose, provides either connection, rooted in love, or separation, based in fear. The choice is always ours and rides on consciousness.

During the first part of the event we reflect on this profound wisdom as we explore some of the viewpoints of Toltec and Mayan philosophies. More than just a meditation, our time together will be a sacred journey of the harmonious cycles and balance embedded in the very essence of existence, and our roles in the cosmic dance to preserve the delicate balance between life and nature.

Details of the event:

All the above will be amplified with a mini-workshop on the theme, our intention setting for the night and a guided meditation on “Unconditional Love”, a realization and practice we can invite and cultivate within, each day as it is about awakening to the boundless possibilities that life has to offer.

  • During the 1st part of the event we will share thoughts, reflections and insights on the healing properties of sound can contribute to one’s personal transcendence of the ordinary, and assist to be present as much as possible. The duration of this segment is about 90 minutes.

Participants will take part in a practical and participatory workshop featuring the subject specific presentation (Unconditional Love), meditation and intention setting.

  • The 2nd part featuring the sound element will begin around 10:00 pm with a guided meditation. The sound bath will be provided by Marian and Gabriela for 8 continuous hours on 3 large gongs and other sound instruments to end at 6:00 on Sunday morning. To be then followed by a brief forum and group photo to conclude by 7:00 am.

  • Included are: refreshments consisting of fruits, nuts, cheese, crackers, dips and cookies, as well as beverages (water, coffee and tea) which will be available throughout the event.

We are very excited to hold this “Overnight Awakenings” event at the wonderful Northshore Healing Center’s large event room. Please note the doors will open at 7:20 and we will begin at 8:00 pm.

The only pre-requisite for participation in this unique program is to be open-minded, give yourself permission to relax, to “drift in and out” throughout the night (it is not required to stay awake all night), and to allow sound, vibration, harmonics, intention and the unique space to serve as a psycho-acoustic gateway to a meditative and transformative inner dimension and heightened states of consciousness.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring a pillow, mat, fur, zero-gravity chair, inflatable mattress, blanket etc. Personal journals, crystals and other artifacts are optional and welcome.
